What data can I see on the ELA Groups Report?

The ELA Groups Report creates groups of students by current reading level. To access the ELA Groups Report, scroll down to the ELA section on the left navigation bar of your Teacher Dashboard. Click on "Articles Reports" and then click on "Groups."

Current reading level is determined by progress and performance on Freckle articles. Teachers should see these groups shift over time as students grow and progress. These groups can be used to make informed decisions about instruction. Teachers might use these groups to assign leveled reading, pull small guided reading groups, decide groups for projects, or make decisions about intervention. Teachers can sort students by grade or by skill. When sorting by skill, teachers can filter for specific skills.
